As a proud resident of Alamance County, I am deeply committed to serving our community. My roots run deep in this area, and I am passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of the people here.
DEDICATED TO PUBLIC SERVICE
My journey in public service has been one of dedication and perseverance. Throughout my career, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to uplifting the voices of our community and working towards a better, brighter future for Alamance County.
Here, I will share a comprehensive overview of my vision for the county and the initiatives I will strive to undertake as your County Commissioner. I am dedicated to transparency, collaboration, and progress.
From 1985 to 1989, I had the honor of serving in the United States Air Force. My service reinforced the importance of duty, teamwork, and dedication to something greater than oneself—values I continue to carry forward today.

My vision for Alamance County is one where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. I am committed to fostering an environment where equality meets opportunity, and where every voice is heard and valued. Together, we can build a county that is inclusive, vibrant, and prosperous for all.

I am running for Alamance County Commissioner because I believe our county deserves leadership that is honest, responsible, and grounded in strong values. My faith in God is at the heart of who I am. It guides how I live my life, how I treat others, and how I approach decisions. I believe that when we put God first, we’re reminded to lead with humility, integrity, and compassion, especially when we’re entrusted with serving others.

Alamance County is experiencing growth, and this can be a positive development. But growth must be managed wisely. We need smart planning that protects our rural communities, supports local businesses, and ensures our infrastructure keeps up with our roads, schools, and emergency services. Growth should strengthen our community, not strain it.

One of my top priorities is supporting our first responders, our deputies, firefighters, EMTs, and emergency personnel. These men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect our families. They deserve leadership that values their service and ensures they have the tools and support they need to do their jobs safely.
​
I also believe strongly in supporting our teachers and schools. Our teachers help shape not only the minds but also the character of our children. Investing in education is an investment in the future of our county. Fiscal responsibility is another core principle for me. Our county government should be careful, transparent, and respectful with taxpayer dollars. Every decision should be made thoughtfully, with an eye toward long-term stewardship, not short-term politics.
I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who believes in hard work, accountability, and service.

With faith, unity, and a commitment to doing what’s right, we can protect what makes Alamance County special and build a strong future for the next generation.
